Talk of Rinpoche on importance of the International Gakyil
Dear Vajra brothers and sisters.
At the beginning of the Annual General Assembly of the IDC members, which took place in Dzamling Gar on Sunday, 16th of April 2017, Rinpoche gave a talk about International Gakyil. He very clearly sounds His vision about the role of the International Gakyil and how it is related to His teaching of Dzogchen.
All Gars’s and Ling’s Gakyil members are invited to listen to this message of Rinpoche.

Thank you for the Replay. My internet cut out while I was watching it live on the day. Rinpoche reminds us that we need to collaborate with the International Gankyil. I am uncertain how to do that. Do I just follow the Gankyil’s directions? If so, what are the directions for me, personally? Thank you very much for reading and replying.
Hi Prue,
International Gakyil is not doing what we are thinking to do, but we are trying to find best ways how to realize what Rinpoche is asking as to do. Sometimes it needs a lot of clarifications from Rinpoche, usually it is quite straightforward. But we cannot do it without the help of other Gakyils of Lings and Gars. So collaboration in this context means IG and local Gakyils are working together to a) understand and respect local circumstances and b) to find the best solution, how to implement what IG was asked by Rinpoche to do. It is sometimes very creative work to do, sometimes just a ordinary following of some legal procedures for instance. What is necessary is the concrete intention on both sides to cooperate to solve what needs to be solved to realize the vision or request of Rinpoche.
